Add the tea bag, cloves, cardamom, star anise, peppercorns, cinnamon, ginger and water into a small saucepan. Bring to the boil then lower the heat and gently simmer for 5 minutes until spices and tea have infused into the water.
Add in the milk and maple syrup and bring to a gentle boil. Remove from heat just as it starts to foam and rise.
Pour into 2 mugs through a small strainer. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Enjoy immediately.
